It is down to the four participants at WCG Sweden, time to hit the semi-finals.
There weren’t much surprises in the quarter-finals, the four favorites advanced without any problems whatsoever. Only H2k Gaming had problems closing the match against Aquintra, who managed to force overtime on second map dust2. The former Lemondogs team did, however, manage to lock it down with a 4-0 win in the overtime.
This brings us to the semi-finals, seeing fnatic face Begrip and SK Gaming taking on H2k Gaming. The winning teams of the semi-finals will both be secured of a spot at WCG Grand Finals. The Grand Final at WCG Sweden will determine which of the two will receive financial support; paid travel expenses, hotel and player license fee.

The most interesting matchup should be the SK Gaming versus H2k Gaming. SK Gaming recently swapped one player, but will that have any effect on the outcome of this match? H2k Gaming have a lot to prove, since they won DreamHack Summer (with two standins), they are in many eyes candidates to beat SK Gaming in this match, but can they do it?
